Wedding Fashion for the Best Man 2011

Monday, January 17th, 2011

Wedding fashion for the best man 2011 seems to be that all of the men are dressed in matching outfits. But not all of the best men are wearing black this year. Often the best men are in white and it may not be a top coat or suit coat but just vest that looks a bit more formal. Wedding fashion for the best man 2011 is also about some color. The color may be in the tie or caveat. Unless the wedding is a very formal black or white tie affair the best man will probably be wearing a more formal tailored suit. It may be one that has matching trousers and jacket but not by any means a formal affair. But the best man may also be wearing dark trousers and a blazer but the blazer should not have gold buttons but instead dark buttons, unless the wedding is taking place on a beach or on a ship. If the groom is wearing a dark suit that is not formal then the best man should be wearing something that complements that groom’s suit. They can add color with a different colored shirt.

But just remember that the shirt or tie should not clash with what the brides and her bridesmaids are wearing. It should appear as one harmonious wedding party with no one wearing something that glares out. So it is best if the best man or men all wear matching ties or shirts or whatever their apparel is going to be.

Wedding Fashion for the Groom 2011

2011 Wedding fashion for the groom is all about well fitting outfits whether the suit is formal or not the suit should fit well. If the wedding is going to be a formal affair then you may need to rent a tux. Or the groom might decide on a single breasted velvet blazer in black which can also double as a tuxedo in those cases where the wedding is formal. A great looking white shirt always works for formal wedding fashion for men especially in the next year or so. In some cases this fine white shirt can also be a soft muted color but that well cut and well made white shirt will never let you down in a formal situation. No pants cuffs are in for formal wedding wear also.

Short sleeves are not in for 2011 and short sleeves are not in any condition considered formal fashion. Even short shirts disguised under a suit jacket or blazer because when you raise you arms your wrist bones are exposed ands so is a lot of the rest of your arm and it shows you are wearing a short sleeved shirt. Wedding fashion for the groom 2011 may be a more formal suit but again that suit must fit correctly. Many men today have substituted a more formal black suit to replace the tuxedo. Often they may wear a Nehru jacket. Sometimes they may wear a long coat called a frock coat. A lot of the male’s choice will be decided by the bride.

Groom’s Fashion Style

The groom is just as important as the bride on the big day and although they can be overlooked slightly in the festivities, the way that they look is just as important as the way that the bride looks. For example, it is a good idea to color coordinate the bride and the groom to ensure that the photos do not look daft but you do not want to be going out in quite literally his and her outfits as this will look rather silly as well.

One of the best Grooms fashion style is to go for the waistcoat, tie and a smart suit combination. This can be perfectly matched to the bride and one great look right now is the black and white theme. A white wedding dress with black detailing can be teamed with a black shirt, white tie and white waistcoat for the groom and this gives a very dramatic effect for the wedding pictures.

There are many looks that a bride can go for in his big day. A kilt is very popular among Scottish weddings but you do not have to be Scottish to go for this look. It is an old fashioned look that some people can find too much but combined with the right accessories and the perfect dress on the bride and this could be a trend that soon catches on.

One last look that deserves to have its say is the top hat and tails look that a lot of more formal weddings go for. Of course the top hat can always be eliminated as it is not really a popular choice these days but the tails on the coat is a very cute touch that is guaranteed to have people talking for the right reasons.

Mistakes Every Groom Should Avoid – Summer 2009 Wedding Tips

If you are the groom getting ready for his big day then you need to know about the mistakes every groom should avoid. You may think that the way that you look and the manner in which you conduct yourself is not always the most essential part of the wedding as it is usually the bride that gets a lot of the attention but in reality, you are one half of the wedding and therefore you have a responsibility to look good and to act well.

Mistakes Every Groom Should Avoid

First of all when it comes to looking the part, one of the mistakes every groom should avoid is to forget about the little details. Look at your hands. Are they rough? Do your nails look terrible? If this is the case then it might be time to bite the bullet and to go and have yourself a quick manicure and hand massage to get rid of the hard skin and rough looking nails. You may get some stick from your friends but do you want to look the part for the wedding or not? The same applies to your hair, make sure that you get a haircut a couple of weeks in advance so that any mistakes have enough time to be rectified and if you have facial hair that the bride doesn?t want, a close shave at the barbers is a choice that deserves to be thought about.

Mistakes Every Groom Should Avoid

When it comes to mistakes every groom should avoid, alcohol is a big thing. Remember that getting drunk and drooling over everything with legs or basically making an idiot out of yourself is not a good look for the wedding and where possible, try to keep the alcohol to a minimum. Unless you want to wake up by yourself without your gorgeous bride of course!

Wedding Nails For The Bride – Summer 2009 Wedding Tips

Nails are an important part of the whole wedding attire and when thinking of nails for the bride, it first must be remembered that nails that are bitten, yellowing, with chipped nail polish and any other nail faux pas will ruin the whole appeal.

Wedding Nails

One of the favorite looks that many brides are going for are false nails. These can be either acrylic, gel or fiber glass, each of which will have both their advantages and disadvantages and all of which will look fabulous.

Wedding Nails

These can be quite expensive but the good news is that you can fit in a nail appointment up to two weeks before the date and even play around with different kinds of nail art to find the look that suits you and that matches the wedding. One of the best looks is when glitter is added to the acrylic powder for these false nails to add a slightly shimmery look that goes well with any color of dress.

Wedding Nails

Another idea for nails for the bride for those that are on a budget is to get the stick on ones that you can find in most beauty stores. These will generally be much cheaper but do not have much in the staying power but if applied correctly will last for the duration of the day and even the day after if you are lucky.

Wedding Nails

Again you can get these in a variety of colors and patterns and you are guaranteed to find one that matches the wedding look.

Wedding Nails

One of the most favorite nails for the bride look for both real and false nails is a French manicure. This is a very sophisticated look that looks fabulous. A simple white tip and a beige or clear top coat and the nails will look as perfect as they should do on your big day!

Wedding Hair for the Groom

It is just as important for the man to look good at a wedding as it is for a woman and sometimes wedding hair for him can be somewhat overlooked. It is important to get this right as well however otherwise the photos will look not quite right.

It is important that the man books an appointment at a hairstylist for at least two months before the wedding. This is important just in case the hair is cut short or any other mishaps happen and the hair has enough time to grow back a little before the big day. This would be the time to have any major cuts when it comes to wedding hair for him and then it is just a light trim that will be needed for the month before the wedding and then a couple of days beforehand.

The other reason as to why it is important for you to have your hair cut and sorted two or three months before the wedding is to get rid of any muck ups that have happened with the hair before. This is especially more for short hair where all of the problems will show up in the wedding photos and that is why wedding hair for him is just as important as wedding hair for her.

The best time to have wedding hair for him cut again for the last time before the wedding is around two weeks. This amount of time is perfect for the groom to still look well turned out but will also leave just the right amount of time for any mistakes to have been covered over by regrowth of new hair.
